Altron Aviation operates both private passenger airplanes as well as a vintage World War II era trainer that was used to instruct young Navy pilots in advanced air-to-air combat. The skills they learned in the AT-6/SNJ trainer were used in fighters and bombers over Europe and the Pacific theaters. The SNJ is primarily used to promote the Altron Foundation and it's mission to introduce youth to aviation careers.
